Most Jeeps are for one of two things... The trail or the street. If you run the trails you tend to modify your rig and there are some things that are just not added to a "trail rig"...  So I've been told

Who says you can't have the best of both worlds?

I had an idea when I began making changes to this Jeep that I could build her up for the trail yet keep as much of the street sophistication and style as possible. In fact, I wanted her to be a total surprise on the trail. A Jeep that looked more like it belonged on the street than off-road yet could tear up some of those 3 diamond trails just as easily, and quickly,  as her stockier, beefier,  "trail-rig" siblings.

Originally named "TazJeep", I bought this 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport (TJ) as a used vehicle in March of 1999 at 13K miles.  We later discovered the 2" ProComp lift and ES3000 Shocks, AR-23 American Racing rims, and 31x10.50 BFG MT Tires. Check out the Wishlist for all the changes! February 24th, 2001 she earned her new name of MudTaz at JNT's Powder Puff Run at Gilmer, Texas as she won the trophy for the Muddiest Jeep!

Enjoy our site and be sure to add it to your favorites.  We update often with new pictures, new mods, more ideas and changes, as we continue to build the ultimate Jeep for living in both worlds--the Daily Driver, and the Weekend Warrior!
